Restoring Empathy to an Essential Service
As a group of young, two-spirited, indigenous individuals with varying experiences within the healthcare and funeral industries, we felt that there is a lack of empathy within the industry which we no longer want to be a part of.
We are passionate about creating an indigenous-owned workplace where we can host an environment where like-minded individuals can have a career where they are equipped with the appreciation, education, and respect to make a vital difference within the community.
We acknowledge that this industry is a high-stress, trauma-inducing essential service, and our team chooses this role every day to work in service of others.
